Teaching Theme 4

Messy: Your Life is Never Too Messy for God
On the surface many of us look as if we have things all together. It looks like we have a good marriage, a happy family, a fulfilling job, and the life we’ve always dreamed of. On the surface it might even look like we have a thriving relationship with God. The truth is that most of us are in a mess. Maybe it’s a messy relationship, a financial mess, or some other kind of personal mess. God knows about your mess, and your life is never too messy for God. In fact God wants to step into your mess and turn it into a masterpiece!

Teaching Theme 3

"Be: Stop Going to Church and Start Being the Church"
A study on the Book of Acts
"Here is the church, and here is the steeple. Open the doors and there's all the people." We've learned this little rhyme about the church but the problem is that it just isn't accurate. The church is not a building that we go to once a week, to sing some songs, and hear someone speak. The early church described in Acts was committed to sharing the hope of Jesus with the world, no matter the cost. How did we get from there to here, and how can we get back to being church again. In this series we will explore the characteristics of the early church and how we can develop those characteristics today.

Teaching Theme 2

Relate: How to Have Great Relationships

At the core of our existence is a need for meaningful relationships. When we stop and think about it, our lives are really the result of our relationships. In "Relate" we will look at some of the most important relationships in our lives (self, God, friends, opposite sex, world), and how these relationships can go from good to great.

Teaching Theme 1

The Epic: My story. Your story. God's story.
In "The Epic" we will trace the story of God beginning with creation (making new stuff) and ending with resurrection (bringing dead stuff to life). As the story of God unfolds we will discover how our own individual stories are a part of God’s larger story.
